Corporate Profile

LKC Systems, Inc. was founded in 1975 by three engineering professionals to supply engineering services and repair services for a variety of electronic/electromechanical equipment to various government agencies.

The founders, Jerome Leight, Sigmund Krassowky, and Frank Chen are advanced degreed engineers with broad and varied experience in multidiscipline technologies and project management. They combined their expertise to address a problem in the marketplace. That problem was the lack of availability of sources for the fast and economical servicing of sophisticated electronic and electromechanical equipment owned by government agencies. Because of their years spent in developing such equipment, the founders (LKC) realized that after the warranty period, the consumers of such products were captive to the original manufacturer and were often charged exorbitant prices for servicing or for minor modifications. In addition, turnaround time was often poor because of the low priority assigned to such service by many manufacturers.

LKC has achieved many of its goals and now is an established repair depot for Fort Meade. Other government agencies for which LKC has provided repair and engineering services include:

LKC, because of its engineering expertise, has not only been able to service government-owned equipment economically, but also has been able to improve products that had reliability or performance problems due to original design limitations.
